SB-DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluids)
Saphire Blue Industries Pvt. Ltd.'s DEF is a highly purified, colorless liquid comprising demineralized water and urea. Injected into the catalyst of the SCR system, it initiates a chemical reaction with ammonia, converting toxic nitrogen oxides (NOx) into harmless nitrogen (N2) and water vapor (H2O).

This diesel exhaust fluid is designed for modern diesel vehicles equipped with selective catalytic converters utilizing selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology. Its purpose is to treat exhaust gases, ensuring compliance with BS-IV environmental standards for NOx emissions.

How it works?
DEF injected into the catalyst of the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system, initiating a chemical reaction with ammonia. This reaction converts toxic nitrogen oxides (NOx) into harmless nitrogen (N2) and water vapor (H2O). Both nitrogen and water vapor are naturally occurring gases that pose no harm to the environment.
